Comming to Yucatan and not visit Eladio's it is like not to having been there. Since more than 60 years you can experience an authentic Yucatecan celebration in all of our restaurants. Seven days a week.
Here, you’ll find it all: an enormous variety of delicious complimentary appetizers to go along with your ice cold drinks, a menu full of the most famous Yucatecan dishes and seafood platters prepared with the recipes we inherited from our grandma, the most fun ambience and even live music to loosen your hips!

History

1952
While relaxing in his hammock, Don Eladio Herrera decided to open up his own business: Eladio's Bar, in Mérida’s historic center where you can still find one of our restaurants. -
1953
Don Eladio has the great idea to offer complimentary appetizers to his thirsty clientele, primarily consisting of gentlemen. -
1972
Eladio's Bar celebrates its 20th anniversary with a great party that the older Yucatecans remember to this day. -
1989
Eladio's Bar changes into a restaurant bar, offering a fun new concept for the whole family and it was a great success! -
1990
A new baby is born: Eladio’s opens a second restaurant in Pensiones, then one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in the city. -
1991
A few steps away from the paseo Montejo, the city’s famous tourist landmark, we open our brand-new restaurant in Itzimná. -
1994
The eastern part of the city was lacking a little fun, so we decided to open our fourth restaurant and change all that:Eladio's East. -
1997
So anyone arriving to or leaving from Mérida can do so with happy taste buds, we open our restaurant in Itzaes, nearby the airport. -
2002
We celebrate our golden anniversary. 50 years filled with delicious moments and great memories! -
2002
What if we add some beach and delicious seafood to the Eladio’s concept? Eladio's Progress is born, our famous restaurant on the beachfront. -
2012
We can't seem to stop celebrating! For our 60th anniversary we welcome the youngest member of our family,Eladio's Altabrisa.Our seventh restaurant, this one is located in the northern part of the city. -
